Ah the dreaded CUSTOMS

Okay here it goes. US customs is a joke. Did I really say that? If you are a US citizen coming back into this country is a no brainer. Your luggage will screened by dogs and sensors before you even touch it again. They know if you have something illegal or dangerous inside of your luggage. They do not care about the shiny new Rolex on your arm. Okay I cannot tell you to not claim it, I'll leave that one alone. US Customs have a lot on their minds you carrying 2 extra liters of alcohol back into the states does not throw up a flag. You looking over your shoulder and sweating your butt off does. Airline customs can take a while and is more in depth then cruise customs, or so it seems. Remember now you had to leave your luggage out the night before arrival and it is unloaded way before you do. It is screened very well. Again they are not looking for the new diamond earrings your wife is wearing or the 4 bottles of liquor you are carrying. They are looking for Plants, Animal, Weeds, Herbs, Powder, Chemicals, you know things that do not belong here. Other then that have a good time and don't worry about customs.
